Cubana Chief Priest Laments About Insecurity, Asks Why Flavour Opted to Bury His Dad in Enugu

Nigerian socialite Pascal Okechukwu, better known as Cubana Chief Priest, purportedly stated that persistent insecurity was the driving force behind highlife artist Flavour’s decision to have his father’s burial rituals in Enugu rather than his native state Anambra.

Chief Priest, who was among the many prominent people in attendance at the sad event on Saturday, lamented the southeastern region’s security challenges in a moving Instagram post.

He made an emotional call to all Southeasterners to cooperate in confronting the growing threat of instability that has disrupted their communities.

The star barman, as he is fondly known, stressed that people from the South East should not destroy their homeland in response to marginalisation.

The Cubana Chief Priest stated unequivocally that giving in to such behaviours only serves to further the interests of those seeking to disorganize and destabilise the South East.a

He wrote:

“This amazing funeral was supposed to be happening in Umunze Anambra State but here we are in Enugu managing it. Umunne, we need to come together and fix this, it’s no longer interesting. We cannot destroy our own because we are being marginalised.

“We must uphold our glory by going back to our peaceful nature. We can only fight back if home is in order for proper planning. If this continues that means they have succeeded in disorganising us.

“Oga Adicha ama, nke di na iru ka. RIP, Papa Ijele Igbo Nile, Papa muru African royalty 2niteflavour ebube agu na eche agu.”
